Eheim Surface Extractor on a eheim 2211?

I have a 60 gallon with a Eheim 2213. Besides the Eheim 2213, I would like to use the Eheim Surface Extractor with a smaller Eheim 2211 ( just for the surface extractor). Has anybody tried it?
I am interested in what everyone thinks about this idea . I would appreciate any tips on this. Thanks in advance!

I don't think the tubing will fit with the extractor, may have to purchase an adaptor
