Eheim thermo filters

I have two thermo filters with two separate temp gauges. They are placed in the tank close together and yet they have a 0.2 Celsius reading difference. Anyone out there that knows electrical stuff can direct me how to splice the (phone wire) leading from the one thermo probe to both heaters so they "kick in" at the same time?
