I am currently using EI method on my 100 gallon tank.

I currently dose 1 1/2 tsp KNO3
1/2 tsp KH2P04 all 3x per week
1/2 tsp K2SO4
1/2 tsp CSM+B

My question is I have a decent amount of fish around 60 and I feed heavy (small angels) so should I lower my KNO3 dosing to compensate for the fish waste/food? Will it hurt to just keep doing what I am doing?

TIA for the help

It depends on how much light you have. If it is less than 2 watts per gallon of AH Supply quality light you could easily cut the nitrate dosing in half. If it is 3 watts per gallon of T5 lights that would be more of a possible problem.

There is a lot of evidence that nitrate levels you could reach using the full EI dosage will do no harm to plants or fish. So, I wouldn't worry about that part. If you want to reduce the nitrates, try dropping them by a third, wait a couple of weeks and see if you notice any slower plant growth, or plants growing distorted or discolored - clear leaves on new growth, for example. If that is satisfactory, you could reduce the dosage another third or so and repeat. Personally, I would just continue with EI dosing.
