E. Verticillata

Anyone??????
I'm just curious what does it look like? Did you try posting an add on aquabid?
This plant probably isn't even in the United States, yet.

Basically, it's Eusteralis stellata 'Green'? It would be great to at least one stem here, as I have always wanted something in the likes of E. stellata and L. 'Cuba' that stayed green...this maybe the plant I was looking for.

jdigiorgio, try asking around on AquaQoutient...people there probably have this plant, as they usually get access to the latest plants in the trade or I'll try asking my friend from Brazil.
Sorry to give up your hopes, but this plant is not Pogostemon (Eusteralis) var 'green'. This plant colors up in much the same fashion as the P. stellatus we are familiar with. It was often used by Amano in Nature Aquarium World Book 2. It is a native of Japan.

A green variety of Pogostemon is Pogostemon yatabeanus. It is a native of Japan and was once frequently used by Amano. Pogostemon helferi (downoi) is another green species in this genus.

P. yatabeanus and verticellata have disappeared from the hobby outside of Japan in recent years. Taiwan does not have it, and Singapore even much less likely so.

Notice the name Pogostemon. Eusteralis, as a genus name, is now defunct.
