Hello everyone. On a general basis, how often do you dose ferts. I'm dosing flourish and flourish iron and I am rather well planted now. Just curious. Thank you.
BTW, what are you using for ferts?

Your dosing scedule will depend on your setup...Lighting (wattage), use of C02 or not, if you have slow growers or fast growers and if the tank is heavily planted, medium or lightly planted.

I dose nutrients everyday, dosing macros and micros on different days. The brands I use is Kent grow, Kent micro, Kent iron, Seachem phosporous and Green light stump remover for pottasium nitrate.

Your plants are a great indicator how often and how much you need to dose. Start off slow and increase as needed. Make sure to keep N03 & P04 at a 23 to 1 ratio. Here is a site that will help with dosing... http://www.csd.net/~cgadd/aqua/art_plant_fertilizer_intro.htm
