Hey everyone! Just wanted to see what your fertilizer opinions are  I currently use pellets from AquariumPlants.com and just shoot them under the roots of my plants. It seems to work pretty well, but what do you think? Also I have another 10 gallon tank with mainly hornwort for my baby fry and I use FlouraPride Liquid Fertilizer (once a month) and I also use Flourish Excel (once a week). What are some good liquid brands and should I be experimenting with other fertilizers such as potassium, iron, etc.? Thanks for the advice!

Flourish has a bottle for everything, N, P, K, trace, comprehensive micro's, iron, and excel. I used all those according to a dosing chart for a long time. Eventually I switched over to dry fertizers because they are much cheaper in the long-run. I get those from greenleafaquariums.com (KNO3, KH2PO4, and CSM+B) .

What are the differences in benefits from N, P, K, Iron, etc.? Should I not try these since I am currently using fertilizing pellets? If I should try some of these what would you recommend first? Thanks Dave!
