Folks,

I just purchased 3 bags of 3M Colorquartz Grade T gravel. I just need 1 bag and the dealer would only sell it as a 3-bag set. Hence this post and I'm selling it at cost for fellow hobbyists.

I'm shipping a 42-lb Large Flat-Rate USPS box tomorrow. I can do the same package for $30 shipped.

In addition, I can also ship a 20-lb package for anyone interested for $20.

You can see the details in another thread at: http://www.aquaticplantcentral.com/forumapc/sale-trade/55914-wtb-50-lbs-3m-colorquartz-t-3.html

Please let me know if you're interested.

Ravi

Thank you, ingg for your comments.

If a dealer is within a 2 hour driving distance, I think driving to a dealer is a better deal rather than spending the money in shipping.

For anyone interested in purchasing this product, I'd recommend looking at 3M's Distributor Locator website to find if there are any dealers close by. Even if they're a little farther away, check with them if they can ship it to you and compare if that deal turns out better.

You can check out the details here for the Distributors. In this link, only select that box that says "The project is in this state" and select the state you're from.

Good Luck.

regards,
Ravi
Erik,

I've already shipped 1 40-lb box and have just responded to one person and another is waiting to hear the response from the 2nd respondent for a 40-lb box. I will respond to you once I hear back from them about their decision.

In the meantime, you may want to check with the dealer in Indianapolis.

I'll PM you tomorrow about the responses from the others.

regards,
Ravi
Folks,

The 2 40-lb bags have been spoken for. I have enough for a 20-lb package that I can ship on Monday. Please let me know if you're interested. I have to add another dollar to the cost as I forgot about PayPal fees for sellers. This was the first time I used PayPal to accept payment.

I was thinking about getting another 3 bags from the distributor for the hobbyists but, due to my time commitments for this month, I will not be able to do that. Sorry.

The 20-lb bag will be $19 shipped.

Erik, were you able to contact the dealer in Indy?

Thank you.

regards,
Ravi

I have 1 44-lb box left that is ready to be shipped for $32 if anyone's interested.

I can also get a 20-lb box shipped for $18.

PM me if interested.

Thank you.

Ravi
It's black 1 - 2mm granules without any sharp edges. You can see it in Aaron's Mineralized Soil Substrate site. Check out Step 6, 8 and 9. Step 9 shows the substrate fully covered.
You can see the pictures of the bag here:

That's great. If you can get it locally, that's the best option.

Good Luck with your aquascaping. :D
