ok, my tank is 26 inches deep so atleast as deep as yours and i only have 48 watts t5ho with good parabolic reflector. it is a hex tank so the light is pretty much over the entire tank. do you think this will still work? also, its a new tank so i am i trying to go with fast growers to keep algae down. let me know.

Close call.... I'd be inclined to hold off for now as your tank is actually 2" deeper than mine. At best, it might survive but get "leggy".
