These are some of the coolest nano fish available in this hobby. Not only because of the coloration, but also because of the way they swim (always very perky with the fins spread) and also because they are VERY hardy.

They stun easily if you slack off with your water changes. But they have a growth spurt literally the next day after a water change.

Eat anything they can fit in their mouths - dry, frozen, live.

When trying to catch them they quickly go into panic behaviour. Some pretend to be dead, don't move and react. Nobody gets hurt though, they just pretend too well.

I'd say that for a 10 gal. tank one needs to get at least 20 if they are the only fish in the tank. Their small size and the intense coloration make for a very, very nice looking setup.
