0~0.5 KH, 3~4 GH, med lighting, Co2 & NPK ferts. What do you have for growing parameters?
For camparison the top plant is China & lower Thailand. Leaves are softer texture, less rigid and less upright than that of a Thailand. Also keep in mind these plants are still young and far from it's full potential.do you have pictures of the adult plant? or is that whats in the picture? Interested in a couple
Ill take it off your hands if you dont feel you can keep it alive. Think of me as a displaced plant care center! Your Kh does need to be under 3-4.I just received the Eriocaulon sp. 'Guangzhou' you sent me. It's beautiful, healthy, and was well packed.
Can you give me some advice on growing it? What is the range of growing parameters? I may have painted myself into a corner here. After you posted this thread under the species name "Ghuanzhou", I was able to track down some web references and it seems like it's a species that doesn't tolerate anything but soft water. My water is 10gh, 4.5kh, and ph7.4 and lowered to 6.2 with CO2. I'd hate to kill it.
Thanks for some info.

What are the ill affects above 5dkh?China can tolorate up to 5KH so you'll do fine with this sp and Don't worry about the 10GH, it won't cause any issues.
