It's not a difficult one to maintain, but it's also not a walk in the park either. It will do fine in softwater, but it can also be grown in higher KH waters of up to 7. I've grown these from 0~5KH & GH from 2~10 so if you are within his range you should do fine as long as you keep routines and Co2 consistent.
Just thought I would share this pic of them flowering because it caught me off guard when I saw them doing this. I've had this sp in my collection now for over a year and during this time I've had numerous splits, not once did they ever flower..... until recently.
