The gist of this is that you send me $26 and I send you a small priority flat rate box stuffed to the brim with as much vegetation as I can figure out how to fit in there (which, for the record, is actually a lot more than you'd think by looking at the size of the box). Great for collectoritis victims like myself, new hobbyists looking to try a bit of everything, or someone who wants to fill a tank up quickly. Will include a minimum of 15 different species/varieties and often I end up stuffing nearly twice that in just 'cause I can. May also include duckweed, snails, or algae, because I'm pulling from 50-odd tanks and a greenhouse, but nothing to excess. The general process involves me grabbing a bag and wandering aimlessly around the greenhouse/fishroom looking for anything that needs trimming/thinning.

Likely to include a mix of emersed and submersed growth. If you want all emersed to cut back on snails/duckweed/whatever, I can probably do that. Let me know a bit about your tank and I'll do my best to throw in some plants that should thrive in your conditions. If you specify low-light plants only, I may not be able to put in quite the same variety, but I do have at least a dozen or so to choose from. Please don't send me a list of the 20 exact species you want (this is a random grab bag, so you will be ignored!!), but if there's that one plant you just HAVE to get your hands on, let me know and I'll see if I can do it (no guarantees). Those who want a number of specific plants are welcome to contact me regarding custom packages.

Pickups are welcome if you're near Fairfield, CT (now with bonus guided greenhouse/fishroom tour!). Expect CAPE recruitment speech if you show up in person.

Oh wow just got the parcel..
I was nervous because of how warm the box was but

Yeah, heat isn't too much of a problem, since most of my plants are grown in an outdoor greenhouse this time of year—daytime temps easily hit the 100's in there, and probably the 110's on particularly hot days (the same days I retreat indoors to hide from the heat), but as long as the plants are kept humid, they don't have any trouble with it. Now, if a box was deposited on top of a black car in the sun or outdoors in the dead heat of, say, Arizona, that might be an issue... but they're fine in typical summer temps across most of the country.

Anyway, the mossy balls you mentioned are just that—handfuls of Java moss (possibly with a bit of Xmas or Taiwan moss mixed in, but it's mostly Java). The moss growth in my 120g has been prolific lately, so anyone who didn't specify a no-moss package got a generous portion of it this week. I don't make a habit of including handfuls of duckweed in bags unless someone asks for it LOL—that'd be too cruel.

In other news, the species list has been updated again with the addition of 2 Bacopa species—B. caroliniana and B. crenata, both of which have grown out to the point of needing a trim...

Crypts front & center and what looks like the top of some Lilaeopsis brasiliensis to the right of the crypts.
