I just wanted to let people know that I have Hygrophila balsamica and a couple other rare plants up for auction on aquabid. This is the first time I have been able to auction this plant.

Hello, again,

I saw the auctions yesterday and wanted to ask you about Hygrophila balsamica. Do you have some slightly larger, all-inclusive photos of the balsamica? Any comments about its requirements?

I didn't know Najas indica was rare in the US. I guess that makes sense though, you never hear about it. I should try to grow mine more!! It is a neat looking plant, but very brittle. Good luck with your auctions Robert.

Hi Andrew,

Sorry for my late reply. I don't have any photos of the actual plants for sale. I have grown this plant in water with a GH 3 and KH 1.5. I have also grown it in water with a GH of 3 and a KH of 7. So I don't think it really has any special requirements. It grows slower that H. difformis.

I will have some more up for auction in the next week or two.
I will also be putting up some purple Bacopa this week or next week.

I have never seen Najas indica for sale in the U.S. that is why I called it rare.
