Received my shrimp and although most looked alive upon arrival yesterday, most are dead today.

This is not a complaint and I do not blame Epic. I wanted to post this because the post office tracking said "left our California facility" every single day, including yesterday (Thurs). On Thursdays we keep our store open late but if I'd had any idea the package was arriving, I would have driven home to check. Consequently the package sat on our porch for probably 7 hours. It wasn't cold here (50s or so), but the shrimp baggie felt like ICE. Today the post office link informs me it was delivered. Grrr.

So if you are shipping or receiving by the US postal service, beware.

(I hate that I only have a few of these guys left, though! They sure are cute!)

Got mine a couple days ago! They are doing great. Too small right now to really photograph though. They love hiding in the cave during the day. I only see a few of them out eating outside the cave during the day.

question: One of them has an orangish 'patch' on his back. its large near the head and narrows to the tail. Is it normal? These are my first shrimp besides ghost shrimp.
