Okay.....after a lot of lengthy discussion and thought, I have decided to go low-tech. I'm cutting down my lights, switching to a 29 from a 37, selling the CO2, replacing the substrate, etc.

I can sell my CO2 setup includes:

Reactor (custom made)
Full Tank (15 lbs)
Regulator
2 check valves
CO2 proof tubing
needle valve, adaptors

Price is negotiable on everything.

I can ship the tank but it has to be emptied of CO2, it can be full if you want local pickup, I live in the Champaign/Urbana IL area.

I would like to trade my 2x65 watt 30" fixture for a 1x65 watt fixture, or I can sell it. Includes a plant growth bulb and a Coralife 6700K bulb.

I have a good 40 lbs of fluorite mixed with a very fine gravel, and a lot of plants. PM me or respond in thread.

Have you actually tested the Low Tech Theories? In my very humble opinion - I would love for them to work. Sounds ideal. But do they? (I am currently trying some home experiments myself during the warmer months in the 'frigid' Northeast.)

It just sounds like you have some great stuff that a lot of people would love!

Did you? Or are you just taking the dive to try something different?

Going to focus more on just having an aquarium with fish.....less maintenance, I can use city water (so long R/O!), etc. I am confident it will work! I will of course report my experiences.

Also, Juncus repens, CO2 tank, and P. Kawagoeanaum are sold.
