Hey everybody! It's summer again, and that means grab bags are up for, well, grabs! If you're not familiar with the deal, you send me $28, and I send you a priority flat-rate stuffed full of as many plants from my greenhouse as I can wedge into it (and believe me, I have excellent cramming skills). Your box will be roundish. Plants are my choice, but tell me what kind of tank you have so I can pick stuff that'll do well for you. If there's one or two species you absolutely HAVE to have, mention it and I'll do my best to include them-do NOT, however, send me a list of two dozen species you want included. If you want several specific plants, I also am willing to offer reasonably priced custom packages-shoot me a PM and we'll discuss.

Whatever I send, I guarantee you'll get your money's worth and then some. I also guarantee you'll get at least a dozen different species of plants, though my past buyers will tell you two dozen is often closer to the norm.

I ship once a week on Monday (barring holiday weeks, when I have to ship on Tuesday). U.S. buyers only, will only ship to Hawaii if you have an import permit. Live arrival guaranteed within reason-if it's a hundred degrees outside and you leave the box sitting out on the porch for half the day, that's not my fault. Also, if five stems in your box of 200 have keeled over and everything else is healthy, I'm considering that a success on my part.

This is a great offer for beginning hobbyists who don't know what will do well for them yet, people looking to fill up a tank in a hurry, emersed growers looking to start a collection or make wabi-kusa (if that's your intent, let me know and I'll exclude obligate aquatics from your package), crazy collectoritis sufferers like myself, and adventurous people who just plain like to be surprised.

A note on Low-Light Packages: My ability to fill an order for all low-light plants varies (unsurprisingly, these tend to go pretty quickly). Talk to me beforehand if you plan on asking for all low light plants so I can make sure I have enough!

Here's a species of list of what I know I have growing right now (there's bound to be more that I've forgotten about). Availability of any given species varies.

If there's a cool plant you have that isn't on the above list that you want to trade, I'm also open to that! I'm particularly interested in emersed-form stems, Hygrophila and Staurogyne species, Bacopa species, obscure stuff, and so forth. If you have something, ask. Worst I can say is I've already got it or I'm not interested...

Alrighty, all of this week's grab bags were just dropped off at the post office. If paypal didn't auto-send your tracking number, shoot me a PM and I'll get it for you. :)

Amanda, Greetings from Annie! Glad to see the grab bags are back this year.

Just in case you are wondering how your plants are doing, this is the 55g I bought last year after purchasing your grab bag. Though I manage to kill a lot of the plants due to negligence (just recently have a new baby and we are too busy feeding and changing the baby :D), there are still enough plants left to keep my fish and shrimps very happy.

I really would like to buy some more plants from you this year, but I am not sure if I can find the time to start a new tank... will let you know later this summer. I am thinking about adding a riparium.

I am sure whoever that get your grab bags will have lots of fun with your wonderful plants.

Annie
