Hello all,
I have a moderatly-heavily planted 10 gallon awaiting residents. I'm thinking of just putting in a small colony of wild guppies (Poecilia reticulata, not any domesticated type). My question is, would the guppies do anything against algae? It is a moderate-low light tank, and it doesn't have any problems yet, but I just want to have a plan in case anything starts.
Thanks for your help!

I've found that most all livebearers will graze on algae- usually not enough to control any outbreaks though. I'll see their marks in the glass.

there are some nice wild guppies on aquabid right now, fyi.
