What other nutrients does it have beside iron? I'm assuming that it is a micronutrient source, if so I does micros 3 times a week. I always reccomend starting off slow then increasing the nutrient if needed, depending on the way your plants look.

If it is nutrafin, it is really iron enriched and contains other traces but also contains a remarkable amount of N. So testing and not overdosing is required.

how often should i dose? is once a week to much or too little???
Hagen nutrafin

You have to check for NO3. My tank is 120lt/132watt/co2 heavily planted. I dose totaly 50ml a week (5*10ml).
Start off with once a week and then increase if needed. Make sure to test N03 levels before you start dosing then 3 days later to see where your levels are at. You want to keep your N03 at 10ppm and P04 at 0.4ppm, make sure not to overdose if it contains high amounts of iron. I personally like to dose my iron & nitrates separately, that way you have more control over how much of each you add. For example I dose iron once a week and nitrates four times a week.
