Has anybody has had problems with jager heaters.

What temp is the heater set to, what temp would tank water (or a cup of water) be in the same room without a heater? If you are trying to raise the temp of a 60 gallon tank by more than about 10 degrees you may need a bigger heater than 150 watt.

quite a few years ago i had an ebo jager heater that would be lit all the time, but wasn't actually heating the water

i noticed some condensation had built up in it, though, so check to make sure that isn't what happened to yours

my ebo jaeger crapped out on me- I got a Stealth which is awesome because you don't have to unplug it when doing a w/c.
