Hi Robert,
I am looking to set up a 18 gallon ADA 60-P tank (about 23.5 x 12). I would like to start some HC growing it emersed in the tank and then flooding it in a manner I saw Tom Barr recommend on his barrreport web site. I would like to do the front 1/2 to 1/4 in HC, planting the plantlets singly and then letting them root emersed and filling in. Can you estimate how many of your potted plants of HC would I need to buy?

Well, if you divide each pot into several little bundlles, and spread them apart, I would say 6 to 8 pots. You could go more, or you could go less. It depends on how long you want to wait for it to spread.
