I just wanted to say hi to everyone and introduce myself. I've had the aquarium bug for 25 years and have dabbled in just about everything including saltwater reef systems (God bless my wife for putting up with it all). I have discovered in probably the last 5 years that planted tanks can be just as beautiful as saltwater tanks and i'm finding planted aquariums more enjoyable and just as challenging at times. So out went the saltwater and in came the plants. I keep a 40 gal. high-tech heavily planted tank, which I've been using to educate myself on what I can and can't do with various plants, equipment, ferts, & etc. So far its been successful! I also keep a 75 gal. semi-high tech, if there is such a thing. It is basically overgrown and houses discus, rummys, & various other South American fish. I'm in the proccess of setting up a 115 gal. high-tech as soon as I complete the stand and canopy build! Up till this point I have been sitting on the side line watching and learning from all of you. I want to say I'm amazed at all the knowledge the members of this forum provide and its pretty cool to have all this just by a touch of a key! I look forward to corresponding with you in the near future!!
