Hello everyone!

I'm a college student studying for a BA in english and writing. I love to read and write and I have many animals (both finned and furred) that I share my home with.

I've been fishkeeping for about 6 months, and I started into the hobby with a used 55 gallon tank of goldfish. About two weeks in I bought a 10 gallon and planted it for a new betta, and that was the point of no return ;) I now have three planted tanks (10 g, 20 g, 29 g) and two soon-to-be-planted 5 gallons. My one betta has now also increased to seven bettas

So I haven't been in the fishkeeping hobby for long, but I certainly dove straight in with a lot of tanks! (now 7 +2 quarantine) The only tanks that aren't and won't be planted are the two 55 gallon, because they have goldfish who would tear up all the plants.

I'm looking forward to having a place to talk about my planed tanks and ask any questions that I may have. I was looking through some of the aquascaping pics last night so I know that there will be many beautiful tanks to see pictures of here! I'm excited to get started!

Thanks!

Thanks for the welcomes!

Welcome to APC :D... A planted tank with Goldfish is doable. You just have to choose thicked leaf & fast growing plants.
That's interesting, I didn't think it was possible. hmm.... I may just have to put some of my extra anacharis or java ferns in to see if it survives my little piggy-fishes.

Uh oh, now I have an excuse to buy more plants ;)
