My name is Tim. I've had a fish tank since I was 10. Always the same fish, recently I aquired Convicts. I have 20 in a 46 gal bow frount tank.
I want more! I'm tired of Convicts. they mess my tank up, and I would like to get a large selection of plants. I want to convert to plants with 6 or 7 nice large fish. LOTS OF PLANTS! I have dabbled with plants before. I haven't had much luck but didn't try really. Since I had convicts thers no point.
I'm looking for any and all tips or advice anyone will give. I want to be as educated in this as possible. Before I dump a bunch of time and money into this and it not work. so... HELP if you can!!!

Welcome to APC! There are lots of helpful and informative people here to help you, I hope you enjoy the site as much as I do. You have some excellent aquarium shops and a very active aquarium society in Portland if you ever get in that area.

Even with the convicts, you do have some plant options like anubias, etc.
