Hi, I've been lurking for a while as I often do on the other planted sites since I never feel like I've learned enough to give much advice (goodness knows it seems like the things that cause algae in my aquarium change daily :p) Glad to be here

Here are a couple of shots of my Oceanic 180 in the living-room wall.

Thanks Ravi,
Well its an Oceanic 180 with dual internal overflows dropping into an all glass model 4 sump. The return line is powered by a Poseidon 4 pump feeding into dual then quad aimable outlets at either end of the aquarium. CO2 is injected by a 20lb tank w/Azoo regulator. A Maxijet 1200 powerhead sits in the sump and pushes water through an aquamedic 1000 reactor (bubble rate about 4bps) and the reactor return line feeds into the intake of the Poseidon sump pump. A timer turns the CO2 regulator on 1/2 hour before the lights come on (same thing for the off cycle). I've also fed the vent line of the reactor back to the Maxijet intake.
Lighting is via a 4 bulb 60" long T5 retrofit (320 watts) with 6000k Geisman bulbs. Substrate is Ecocomplete over sand and heating cables which I've just turned off to see if I notice any difference in plant growth.
Ferts are about 3/4 the EI recommendation of KN03 and KPO4 (dry) and Aquacare.

Glad you decided to unlurk. I'm sure you have learned enough already to be able to give advice.

Your tank looks great. I would love to have an in-wall tank oneday.

:welcome:to APC!
