I found this board and really enjoyed lurking, but decided it was time to post. I have kept fish for over 15 years, but have just recently found the joy of planted aquaria. African cichlids have always been my mainstay, so maybe the change from tanks with only rocks is what i have found so refreshing. I have a 75 gallon tanganyikan show tank, and now a 20 long planted tank. I am planning on moving the planted tank into a standard 30 soon. I had a small algae problem when I started, but after insight from this site I added co2, more nutrients, more light and weekly water changes, and the tank looks fantastic, plants healthy!
