Hi,

Recently got a hold of this from a farm. They're not too sure but they think it's something like Eleocharis sp ***** (or Nagro). I couldn't find anything similar on the web.

They've been submersed for about 2 weeks. Can anyone ID it?

That is a neat looking plant Vic. Rayon Vert Aqua lists a plant similar in appearance to yours as Eleocharis sp. 'Rajiaru'.

That certainly looks a lot like what I have. I'll have to see if the plantlets propagate the same way.

I wonder what "Rajiaru" is. The Japanese romaji doesn't spell certain words the way we spell it in English.

At first, I thought that "Rajiaru" refers to the location where the plant was found. However, a google search translates this Japanese word to mean "radial". I would guess that it describes the radial symmetry of this plant?
