I have a relatively new Betta tank (6 gallons, 24x6x8). It is bare bottomed with 3 pots with crypts in it (the only plants), a full spectrum LED light over the tank. Parameters are 0 nitrates and Nitrites, total hardness 75 ppm, total alkalinity 40, ph about 6. I have a ZooMed Nano10 canister filter. Light is on 8 hours.
Thoughts on limiting green algae growth? I have a lot of the green film growing over everything ... will cutting back on the light (6 hours?) help resolve?
