I'm setting up a new tank soon, but where I live the water is extremely soft.

I've made calcium, magnesium, and potassium solutions as per Diana Walstad's advice on increasing water hardness.

I'm just a little worried about immediately adding 'fertilizers' of any sort to the tank, as I don't want algae to come in and use the nutrients before the plants have settled in to the new tank.

So, how soon after I flood my tank should I add these solutions to increase water hardness?

Thank you!

Yes, I agree with John. Plants like Amazon Swordplants may die without some calcium in the water. I would get those hardwater nutrients in as fast possible.
Algae is stimulated by N,P, and iron, not the hardwater nutrients.
