I just feed the CO2 line directly into the intake strainer but you could drill a hole into the tubing out of the tank and feed it into there, just watch for leaks.
Use a pair of wire cutters to cut away a portion of one of the strainer fins near the top of the strainer. Then snake the CO2 line down the strainer pipe and into the strainer. You can also count bubbles there if you can see the strainer closely.
