I guess the first post should always be an into so here goes.

I'm a old fish keeper from way back in the 80's enjoying helping my 14 year old son enjoy the same, currently we are setting up a 135gal heavly planted for a display tank.

I've been reading some threads and decided to join up and learn some new tricks.

Thanks for having me.

Welcome......This is the place to come for new tricks. Even for an old dog like me.
Welcome, John. Can't wait to see pics of the 135, and I look forward to hearing from your experiences.

Welcome John! Check out NASH below. We meeting coming up next month at ADG. You should check out the tanks that Jeff and Mike have on display. They are incredible!
I spoke to them yesterday and plan to stop by soon and pick up some amazonia directly from them...

I'll assume you know of the "Fish Gallery"?

Although I'm about 30 miles north of them I consider them to be my LFS.

Yes, I know the place. I get some of my livestock there. I have since then found other persons at APC who sell cheaper and better quality plants and livestock but you have to know what you want. PM if you want details.
Hello John... Welcome to APC :mullet:

Great to see that your son is interested in planted tanks. It will be a nice project for father & son to do together.
