it is $40 because it is the fern and driftwood...the fern you can get seperate lower on the page for $14

But still $14 is pricey for Anubias, unless of course it's 12" or so..
All their anubias are less than $10, I think you were referring to the fern...they claim it is rare and hard to get so that is why it is more pricey...I don't know their prices seem in line with the other online sellers I have seen.

All their stem plants are in the dollare range. The standard java fern is $3, the thin-leaf java fern is the only "expensive" plant they sell. The Vals are $.75. I don't know how much cheaper they can get. It just seemed like this seller was unfairly targeted for having "high prices" which they don't IMO and that is why I am defending them.

I don't really buy from online sellers anymore though, just aquabid and private trades.
I've never heard anyone who has dealt with them have problems.
Dwight is a great guy and I have never had problems when ordering from there.

HTH,
Robert.
I had no idea NL Java fern was so expensive  I got mine as extras in an online purchase.
are there plants algae free and snail free?
Dwight's a great guy and has been a good supporter of the AGA, I'd have no problems buying from him. I've seen some of his wood and plants and was impressed.
