I tried a moss wall once in a 20 gallon tank, and I used all my baby java ferns too. I got the plastic grids for needlework or hook rugs, I am not sure what it is called. I wired on some suction cups, and sewed a row of java moss strands every inch, with a baby java fern somewhere on each row. It sort of went crazy and grew much too big, but the ferns did well. If they make that grid in black, it would have looked better with just the ferns, especially the windelov.
