I know it was posted somewhere before but why is the only shipping with USPS Express option cost $27.20 making the total $97.19? Is that the only shipping they offer?

Does this come with any of the fluid for the bubble counter, etc? What else is needed besides a CO2 tank and CO2 tubing? I want to order one but I need to know what else I need to get.

The fluid for the bubble counter is H2O.

In my own opinion anyone who is trying to sell you bubble counter fluid is trying to rip you off. As Rob said, the only thing you need is a little water.

If you have the regulator, tank and CO2 tubing, the only other thing you need is a reactor of some sort. We sell the Plant Guild made reactors because they are just so darned efficient. The guy at Plant Guild is an engineer by trade and has applied it to this hobby as well.

Ok, now one last thing....
I have pretty much everything I need to start dosing with a pressurized CO2 system. Are your JBJ regs in stock and ready to ship? If they aren't, if I order one today, how long can I expect to wait before recieving the equipment?

I just called him around 10:30 eastern time. They had some.

Well, everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I agree that special fluid is not really necessary, but it's a bit strong to say that someone is trying to "rip you off" by selling it or even suggesting that one use it.

Thicker fluids make counting bubbles easier for some people, especially if the rate of flow is high. Another advantage is that the special fluids don't evaporate. These kinds of things are appealing to some. Options are good, right? Viva la difference!

I have a question, I have the special fluid. If this leaks into the tank, is it toxic?
