The calculations look like the density used for KH2PO4 are around .97-.974 g/ml. I've seen references in MSDS's that suggest KH2PO4 crystals have a density of 2.338 g/ml. Then again, I've seen references to Greg Watson's KH2PO4 density being 1.177 g/ml. This type of error really through these calculations out.

Any thoughts on what density should be used here?

the MSDS density that you refer to is of a pure crystaline piece of KH2PO4. The density we use is a practical density meaning the inclusive of all the air in the powder.

I know that I contrubuted some of the numbers and they were density (powder density, not crystalin density) calculations based on some analytical balance measurements.
