I have a 45G tank that is 15" in height. I am using 260W CF (4x65W) in which I can use just 1 or both 2 pairs of bulbs. The fixture is about 1" from the water surface. I am also injecting pressurized CO2 at about 2.5 bps. I am growing glosso, blyxa, E. tenellus, dwarf and giant hairgrass. I wanna grow glosso horizontally.

What would be the optimal lighting period for my tank? Please specify the time and number of bulbs I should use. For instance, separately turn on each pair of bulbs for 5 hours with 2 overlapped hours in the middle (noon burst) to create a photoperiod of 8 hours.

Thanks a lot.
