I have the following cuttings that I would like to trade for a good chunk of submerged dwarf Lobelia:

-A. Gracilis (nice. bright red. my favorite plant. a few cut stems)
-Riccia (a lot)
-Christmas Moss
-Erect moss (alive but doesn't do so well in my tank, so I'm looking to get rid of it)
-Nesaea Pedicellata (TRADED)
-Micranthemum umbrosum
- Java fern (It was sold to me as narrow leaf, but it is not as narrow as the Amano style. The leaves have stayed fairly small. I have a few small plantlets)

Also for your information, my tank has an active ecosystem that has contained algae, snails and some hydra so I suggest that you disinfect or rinse the plants before adding them to your tank. I have not seen the algae or hydra for a few months now.

Just an FYI...lobellia leaves convert between submersed and emersed forms. THey don't melt and re-grow the new leaves. ..atleast this is my first hand experience.

Do you have photos of narrow leaved java fern and what you want? I have a narrow leaf and would like to know if it fits your "criteria"

I am not sure if I understand your question. I'm not looking for java fern, only the dwarf lobelia. I already have the real narrow java fern and the one listed above in my tank. Thanks anyways.

Narrow...but not "Amano style".

The Java fern was sold to me as narrow leaf and it does seem to be more narrow than regular Java fern. I also have some of the true narrow leaf variety, that I called the Amano style, on the same piece of driftwood. That variety never grows much wider than 1/4" compared to the one in question that grows to about 1/2". The true (Amano) narrow leaf can grow to over 6" in length and the wider variety only gets to about 3-3 1/2 inches max. Perhaps a more accurate description of this wider variety would be a a type of dwarf Java Fern. I guess I associate the very thin variety with Amano because it appears on the cover of his book "Aquarium Plant Paradise."
