I have a real nice Lace plant, which has taken a serious beating in the last few months for reasons unknown....

It had 4 or 5 great big 6 inch leaves on it, all which have died off! It has sent up some 2-3" shoots from the bulb, but has since stopped altogether. I think I remember somebody saying that there is a hibernation period....cant remember where tho?!

Its 50% buried, but most of the bulb is still visible. All my other plants are growing like weeds, so whats the deal with this one?!?!

Any ideas on how to jump start its life again would be much appreciated!

thx
Nick

Don't take the bulb out if it has a good set of roots, unless of course, you are keeping your tank at discus temps then go ahead and take it out. I keep mine in the tank (9+ years now) but I have my heater set to 71°F. Lace plants don't last long in hot tanks.
