Just wondering what's the longest anyone's had a steady output from their DIY CO2 mixture in a 2L bottle? Mine's been going for nearly 2 months now and doesn't show any signs of stopping. I've been doing DIY CO2 and usually change it every 2 weeks, but I went on vacation for 3 weeks and found it was still running, so left it going! Is this normal?

Could it possibly be another gas being produced??

THanks,

Jay

My mixture is always a ball park but as follows:

about 1 cup of sugar (usually a little less)
little more than half a tablespoon of bakers yeast (comes in glass bottle)
fill with warm water up to where it starts to curve inward toward the neck.

I've always done it this way??

whats the best mixture?

in my old tank 1/2 tsp fleshman's yeast and one cup of sugar lasted me at least 3 weeks. What is it supposed to do? do you change it more frequently?
