Have been reading only for awhile but now need some advice. I'm hoping to add some moss to my npt, but have heard that java moss can be very invasive. I'm leaning toward flame moss (Taxiphyllum sp.) or weeping moss (Vesicularia ferriei) but I'm concerned that my tank may be a little too warm for them. It generally runs 84-86 degrees F, and the upper range for both mosses seems to be 84. Does anyone have these growing in temps up to 86? Any other advice on moss or suggestions?

Tank parameters:
Eclipse 7.5 gal hex
medium light (hood bulb supplemented by desk lamp)
pH 6.6 - 6.8
gH ~120
kH~110

I suggest tying the moss to wood/rocks. This should help with keeping it in that area. I use it in my tanks and the highest temp I have had is 82F. I suggest you try it out at your temp and see if it survives and thrive in your tank.
