I have them in both of my tanks, they've become a bit of a pest in my 20H (which has just a betta in it) but they're fine in my 55. But I have an entire clean-up crew in the 55 of cories, red cherries and Amano shrimp in addition to the MTS. Any overfeed gets cleaned up before the snails can gorge and breed like crazy.

I think they're like any other snail, don't overfeed and you'll be fine. If you do, you'll be up to your eyeballs in snails. The nice thing about the MTS is they aren't as destructive as pondsnails, and unless they do bloom in population, will stay mostly hidden while the lights are on.
