I got some kribs about a week ago and they have already spawned. I've never had kribs before so this is pretty awesome to me. I figured I'd share them with you. Any suggestions on how to keep them alive will be appreciated.

Congratulations. I would feed them either baby brine shrimp or liquid fry food for the first few weeks and then move to larger foods. You should also increase the frequency and amount of your water changes. Krib fry are well looked after by the parents and it is fun watching the fry being escorted around the tank by an adult.

You will notice their geophagine-like behavior of pushing their noses in the sand for food (if you have sand!). Otherwise after your initial use of small foodstuffs, a sinking wafer/pellet usually feeds the school pretty well. I used to do that with my baby kribbies. It was the first fish I spawned and I still love the genera of Pelvicachromis. :)
