Here's my 30 L cube I set up 2 days ago. I would like to add shrimps when it's cycled.
I have a Aquael PAT-mini sponge filter (400 l/h) set to minimum flow, 11 W econolight.
I used Dennerle deponitmix covered by black quartzite. I added just two new Anubias nana from the shop, the other plants (Anacharis, moss and marimo ball) come from the other aquarium and more will come when I need to trim. I add a driftwood I found and three extremely porous volcanic rocks I collected.
This is my first attempt at aquascaping and my first nano aquarium. The net water volume is about 2 gallons. The inhabitants are one male Betta and one Nerite snail. This setup is about 26 days old. I'm very happy with it so far. I can't wait to see how everything grows in over the next few months.
1. Water wisteria
2. Christmas moss
3. Anubias nana
4. Anubias petite
5. Cryptocoryne lutea
6. Cryptocoryne wendtii bronze
Substrate: CaribSea Eco-Complete, soil middle layer, and the path or river consists of shells Hardscape: black river rocks and manzanita driftwood pieces Lighting: Finnex LED Clip Light
Wanted to share a little update of my nano 6.5 gallon.
It's been running for about three weeks now and about two weeks with CO2. The HC is growing in really well. I will also be adding in some frogbit over the weekend as well as some Myriophyllum tuberculatum, Myriophyllum mattogrossense and Ceratophyllum demersum.
