Hi All,
I am new here i hope ill get the guidance from you people, i made an aquarium one year back. in starting it was nice but now its in bad condition coz of ignorance. too much snails and plants are also in bad shape..

So i was thinking to change the Layout totally,,,,,,,,,,,

I want guidance that how to do it, like i can take all the water and fishes out and can re-use that substrate ? or i have to use new substrate soil everythng ??

Welcome to APC!

It depends on what kind of substrate you have. If it is gravel or sand of some type, probably yes. If it is a layered substrate with soil, you will be better off starting over.

When you do this, try to keep your filter running in a tub with the fish, and don't clean the filter media. This will prevent having to "cycle" the tank all over again. Good luck, and show us some pictures.

i planted CUBA but it didnt flourish proper and which you can see in front it started growing itself...

now i want little bit changing like... bit front and left side i wana use white sand... and in otherside rocks and woood and bit plants...
