Is that inline reactor glass?

The Cal Aqua Labs diffuser is an inline 13mm diffuser. It is a piece of art....
Hand blown by 3 old guys, the only 3 in the world known to make such nice pieces out of imported high grade glass..

I got one of these diffusers last year and I liked it so much I got a second one this spring. They can be hidden out of sight (inside the stand in my case) leading to less tubes/clutter in the tank. Its mind boggling to figure out how they can encase the diffuser disc in the glass.

Made by 3 old guys eh? Reminds me of a legendary maker (now deceased) of high end Japanese phono cartridges!

The downside is that they are harder to clean - but the ultrasound cleaner does a great job.

Very cool Bunbuku, we use a mild chlorine and water mix. It takes about 5 minutes to clean. Then soak in dechlorinator for another 5 minutes. Done

Its one of these kind of cleaners http://www.sonicsonline.com/b2510.html, that heats the water and uses ultrasonic sound waves to clean. You have the option of using a special detergent with it also instead of just water. My model is 10+ yrs old. Got it used on a lab surplus sale for cheap. Less expensive versions are sometimes used to clean jewelry.
