hey all. Have a question about these lights....
the Aqua Culture 10 gallon startup kit has a 2-3 watt led equivalent strip in it. is this considered low light? i want to put 3 plants in there and am hoping that this will work for lighting or I will have to look at other options.

'Fraid I'm not familiar with the fixture, but I'd say give it a try and see - anubias and vals are content with very little light compared to some other plants. You can always upgrade later if they're not growing well enough to suit you!

well I got the whole 10 gallon set up with an additional heater for $15.... so it was a good buy even if the hood is not the best. that being said, I have two marineland led fixtures at I could use if I needed to change it out.... they are designed for a 20 and 30 gallon tank for standard lighting so they should do well for such a small tank....
