Managed to grow some Ottelia alismoides seeds. They seem to look like vallisnerias when immature and transition to a cordate leaf when mature. Here are the 5 day old seedlings

Oh nice! They look pretty good in an aquarium. I hear they’re edible as well.
Snails love to eat them and the leaf is quite papery. I had heard people eating the slimy fruit or the young leaves but not in my locality.

Anyway it took the pod maybe a week to let the seeds ripen. The plant will tell you if the fruit arches downward or sideward. Black or brown seeds are viable. The white ones are immature.

Ill update them after a week or so.
