Okay, I have posted on the "New to Planted Aquaria" section, but I will ask my last question here too, as it is a more appropriate place:
I have an established 55g, and I would like to add plants.
However, I have a peacock eel. I was curious as to whether he would be okay in the substrate.
Also, my dragon goby likes to dig
What could I do with this?
My sub. right now is sand, so maybe do a portion of sand?
Thanks!!!

Sand will be fine for them. I use to have a zig zag eel. What plants to you intend to use and how much. Them borrowing could pose as a problem with carpet plants as they encompass the entire foreground.
