Akron and Cleveland aquarium clubs had a Show-n-Tell plant workshop this January and I helped run both of them. Now am going to be doing another one very soon for a different aquatium club. By myself this time. I still know how little I know about the plant hobby, but it was interesting to hear club members asking questions about a particular plant that I brought in, or wanting to know the scientific name. I knew I really only knew a little more than them. If there are any real experts who can attend and help at one of the "work stations", or anyone who wants to pick up some nice plants, it would be appreciated.

Medina County Aquarium society is hosting the next Show-n-Tell aquatic plant workshop. 8:00 PM, Friday, February 10, 2006. Members and guests will be able to participate in identifying and bagging a number of aquarium plants from beginner to advanced species. At the end of the program, all the plants will be auctioned. Plant donations gladly accepted. MCAS has purchased a large quantity of plants that will be all auctioned off at the end of the meeting.

The Medina County Aquarium Society meets on the second Friday of the month at 8 PM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church on Rt 18, just West of I-71 (across from Aldi's) in Medina Ohio.
