Plant replacement

I was looking to get rid of some of the water sprite (Ceratopteris thalictroides) because it grows like umm fast i.e. I have to trim it twice a week. I was thinking of getting rid of pretty much all of it. (circled in read)

I was looking to replace it with some of these:

Pogostemon stellatus broad leaf

Didiplis diandra

Myriophyllum tuberculatum

All of which are fairly similar, any thoughts or comments on any of those?

Each of those grow fast as well. Not sure your gaining anything. It is fun to try different plants though. Bolbitus has a similar look and grows very slow.

I have red myrio and I can't seem to make a decent bush out of it so if that's what your plans are you may want to chose one of the other options. Maybe it's my lighting but mine is more of a brownish red.
