We've talked about opening things up a bit more for photo submissions, actually. We would be happy to accept them provided the following is kept in mind:
- They are clear, free of excessive pearling, fish blur, dirty glass, more than a smidgen of algae, etc
- Submissions would be especially welcome if it's a plant not yet featured in the Plant Finder, if it's for an entry that does not have a photo (not many of those), or if it's of a plant being used in a scape. Many of our photos are portraits, more or less, and it's good to see them in their 'natural habitat'.
- Photos detailing flowers, fruit, habitat shots and plants grown under varying tank conditions are valuable, but are not used as the 'main' shot for that species.
- Keep in mind that while this is a resource that's designed to be useful and unfailingly accurate and up to date, it should also be a pleasure to view; we hold high standards for all content.
-We give photo credit.:D

I would hope that there is some sort of review process.

Here are a couple photos of Hygrophila corymbosa 'kompact' grown emersed with flower.

If members possess images that meet the standard, what is the submit process?
